Specialization Chemistry Affiliation Faculty of Science, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi Role Deputy Center Leader EnvironmentalProf. Istifanus Yarkasuwa Chindo, a Professor of Chemistry is currently the Deputy Centre Leader (Environmental Standards Node) Sustainable Procurement Environmental and Social Standards Enhancement (SPESSE) Centre of Excellence, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, a World Bank Project grant. He has published in several academic journals and is an environmental consultant. Dr. Chindo earned his Ph.D in 2010 from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, where he was investigating on natural products chemistry of Ficus platyphylla. Dr. Chindo is a Fellow of the Chemical Society of Nigeria (FCSN) & Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (FICCON) as well as an active member of the University community.
